15 Mint leaves
40 ml 1.5 oz Light Rum

1 Mint sprig

1 Prepare

Get your mint leaves and cut your lime ready for juicing.

2 Add ingredients

Measure 20 ml Lime Juice and pour into the glass.
Measure 20 ml Ginger Syrup and pour into the glass.
Pick the best 15 Mint leaves and bash or clap hands together to release the taste from the mint leaves. Then put the leaves into the glass.

3 Ice in glass

Fill the glass ¾ full with crushed ice.

4 Rum

Measure 40 ml Premium Rum and pour into the glass.

5 Stir

Using your Barspoon stir and mix all the ingredients really good for 5-10 seconds.

6 More ice

Fill up the rest of the glass with crushed ice.

7 Ginger beer

Top up the glass with Thomas Henry Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic).

8 Garnish and serve

Garnish with a fresh mint sprig (Optional – dust some vanilla sugar on top of the mint sprig). Remember to bash the sprig very gently, this is to get that wonderful aroma and put in a biodegradable straw.

The Cocktail

This ginger twist of the old classic is very refreshing and an instant favorite.

Bartender Tip:

Dust some vanilla sugar on top of the mint sprig for an after-dinner special.
