50 ml 2 oz Gin
25 ml 1 oz Lemon juice
25 ml 1 oz Sugar syrup

25 ml 1 oz Soda water
1 Lemon wedge

1 Prepare

Cut a nice thick wedge of lemon ready for garnish and squeezing

2 Ice

Fill both your highball glass and shaker with ice

3 Add ingredients

Pour in the Gin, lemon juice and sugar into your shaker

4 Shake

Close the shaker and shake hard for 7 seconds

5 Strain

Take off the small top off the shaker and strain out the mix into glass.

6 Add Soda water

Top with soda

7 Garnish and serve

With a wedge of fresh lemon

The Cocktail

Practical identical to a Tom Collins, this is a classic formula that stands the test of time. Gin, lemon and sugar shaken hard and topped with a fizz of soda.
