45 ml 1.5 oz Vodka
15 ml 0.5 oz Triple Sec
Triple Sec
Triple sec is a generic term for a sweet, clear orange-flavored liqueur. It contains 15–40% alcohol by volume level. It is made by macerating sun-dried orange skins in alcohol for at least 24 hours before going through a three-step distilling process. The most popular brand is COINTREAU
30 ml 1 oz Cranberry Juice
15 ml 0.5 oz Lime Juice
1 peel Orange

1 Prepare

Use the zester to peel a thick fresh zest from a whole orange, prepare the lime for squeezing.

2 Ice

Fill both your martini glass and cocktail shaker with cubed ice

3 Add ingredients

Pour all 4 ingredients into your shaker

4 Shake

Close the shaker and shake hard for 7 seconds

5 Empty and Strain

Empty the ice in your martini glass back into the ice bucket. Take off the small top off the shaker and strain out the mix into your chilled glass.

6 Garnish and serve

Hold the edge of the orange zest between your thumb and first finger in one hand holding a lighter in your other hand, create a flame between the zest and glass. Pinch the zest so the oils of the orange flame over your cocktail

If you want a longer version of this drink, serve in a highball glass with extra cranberry juice.
